Yara Shahidi and Mom Launch ‘7th Sun Productions’
Congratulations to Yara Shahidi, and, mom, Keri Shahidi on the launch of their new production company “7th Sun”— a partnership with ABC!
"The vision is set. The slate is built," she wrote in an Instagram post. "Grateful to my ABC family & excited to join the television landscape to collaborate and push forward the stories of our many intersections." The mission of 7th Sun Production is “to pursue projects that touch upon themes of history, heritage, culture, and joy.”
Keri also shared her vision on Instagram captioning it “Excited to share our next manifested dream. We are eager to tell more stories, continue expanding the media landscape alongside our peers and to keep the door open for other creatives.”
If this is where Yara’s creativity is going at only 20 years old, we’re eager to see what’s next.
