Artist Spotlight: Langston Amadi
Langston Amadi has gained an online following for his creative and out-of-the-box take on photographs of famed artists around the world.
He showcases the process of his art on Instagram and usually only needs three things; an X-Acto knife, string, and a photo. Occasionally he edits some hypnotizing moving images to portraits that makes you ask, “Who is the creative genius behind this?” The Atlanta, Georgia resident first went viral with a piece he did featuring world renowned actress, Viola Davis.
“I have been creating since I could first pick up a marker,” says Amadi. “Creating new works of art is how I express my inner world. It’s an honor to allow different intentions and ideas to flow through me.” Honing his eye for design and color, his aim is to make every work of art, better than his last. We can say he's taking on that challenge with ease.
